How to request a refund?
We’re sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with your experience. If you believe you’re eligible for a refund, here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process.
🕓 Who Is Eligible for a Refund?
We offer a 30-day Cooling-Off Period for new subscribers. If you’re not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of your initial purchase — but only if the following apply:
- You followed your meal plan in good faith for at least 14 consecutive days within the first 30 days.
- You submit acceptable proof of adherence (see below).
❗ Important: Refunds are not available after the 30-day period or for any auto-renewed term unless required by law.
📩 How to Request a Refund
Submit your refund request before the Cooling-Off Period ends using one of the following methods:
1. Web Form
Visit our Contact Us page and complete the form.
2. Email
Send a message to support@mealplan.co with the following details:
- Your full name
- The email address linked to your account
- Your order ID
- Proof of adherence (see next section)
Once we receive your request, we’ll respond within 2 business days and issue an approved refund to your original payment method within 7 business days.
🧾 What Proof Do I Need?
To ensure the integrity of our personalized plans, we require documentation showing that you followed your plan for at least 7 consecutive days. Acceptable types of proof include:
Photos of your meals
Time-stamped images that clearly match recipes from your meal plan.
Receipts or grocery order confirmations
Time-stamped records showing the purchase of ingredients aligned with your plan.
We may request additional details if your submission is unclear or appears altered.
🔁 What About Auto-Renewals?
Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each term. You can cancel renewal anytime:
- In your account settings, or
- By emailing support@mealplan.co
Note: Canceling a subscription only prevents future charges. It does not grant a refund.
⏳ Additional Limitations
- Refunds are only possible for payments made within the last 90 days due to payment processor restrictions.
- Chargebacks may delay your refund and could result in account suspension. Please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback.
- Refunds are not available if:
- Your account was suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service.
- You are part of a corporate/group license.
- The Cooling-Off Period has expired.
